UK Climate Tech Firm Secures Grant Funding and Global Recognition as Cooling Demand Surges Worldwide

As global demand for cooling is forecast to triple by 2050, the race to deploy scalable, energy-efficient solutions has never been more urgent. Against this backdrop, Endo Enterprises, the UK company behind the EndoCool energy-saving additive, has been recognised as one of the world’s most promising climate technology innovators.

The company was selected as one of just eight global finalists at The Liveability Challenge (TLC) 2026, Asia’s premier platform for breakthrough sustainability solutions, and was awarded a S$100,000 grant by Enterprise Singapore.

The recognition follows a highly competitive process that attracted more than 1,500 submissions from over 100 countries, making TLC 2026 the largest edition of the competition to date.

Global Recognition for a Scalable Cooling Solution

Organised by Eco-Business and presented by Temasek Foundation, The Liveability Challenge accelerates the commercialisation of deep-tech innovations capable of addressing some of the world’s most pressing sustainability challenges.

This year’s competition featured a record funding pool of up to S$4.3 million, with finalists representing a select group of innovators from Singapore, France, Japan, Estonia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Endo Enterprises’ selection as a finalist places EndoCool among a small cohort of technologies recognised for their potential to deliver meaningful climate impact at scale.

Enterprise Singapore Backs EndoCool’s Growth in Asia

The S$100,000 grant awarded by Enterprise Singapore reflects confidence in EndoCool’s commercial potential and its ability to help reduce energy consumption in buildings across one of the world’s fastest-growing cooling markets.

The support provides Endo Enterprises with a platform to accelerate deployment in Singapore while leveraging the country’s strategic position as a regional hub for innovation, investment and sustainable infrastructure.
